AMP 301
A penetrometer converted into a rotary and percussion rig.

The 301 is a conversion of a conventional penetrometer. The original mast is replaced to mount a rotary head with side shift and a percussion unit with its own independent piston.
The same rig then drills by rotation and hammers. Side-shifting the head clears the drilling axis for handling rods, and the hammer runs off its own piston, independent of the rotation.
